Episode 809 - 11 December 2008

"Fucking hell, Sacha!" Hannah groaned when Shelly told her about Sacha's cleaning up. She was still in bed, trying to get back to sleep, and Shelly was crawling back under the covers next to her. "She always does this" Hannah complained. "She's always tidying up when no-one asks her to. And now she's gonna be guilting me about it for ages."

"She didn't seem too annoyed about it" Shelly reassured her.

"Oh no, she never says she's annoyed. It's all in looks, and the way she walks around and only answers you with one word or two words when you say something to her. It's just this . . ." Hannah lifted her hands up above the bed-spread, and then let them fall like dead weights - "vibe that comes down onto the whole house. Trust me, she'll make me pay."

"That's silly!" Shelly said. "You didn't force her to do it."

"In her mind I probably did" Hannah said.

"So why do you live with her?" Shelly giggled. She hadn't noticed any of this before in Sacha and Hannah's relationship.

"Because she's such a cool girl!" Hannah insisted. "Really, she's great. I love her, she's awesome. She just drives me fucking mad sometimes."

"Well you probably driver her mad too" Shelly told her, rubbing her nose against Hannah's cheek. The fine invisible down on Hannah's skin tickled her nose.

"Probably" Hannah agreed. She was too sleepy to comment further.

"It was a great party last night" Shelly whispered to her, wrapping her arms around Hannah and then readjusting inelegantly to try to make herself more comfortable.

"Mmm" Hannah agreed. She shifted, and nudged up close to Shelly, and Shelly had to move her arm again so that it wasn't pinned underneath Hannah.

"Are we comfortable now?" she murmured.

"Mmm-hmm" Hannah confirmed.

"Good." Shelly put her forehead against the back of Hannah's head, and breathed in deeply through her nose, resting it against the back of Hannah's neck. Shelly couldn't see, but Hannah smiled at the pressure of Shelly's body against her, warm, clothed. They both had their eyes shut tight. Sacha had done the cleaning-up; there wasn't any need to get out of bed just yet.
